About Jeep

Jeep is a registered trademark of Chrysler. The Jeep is the oldest sports utility vehicle, as well as off-road vehicle. Jeep's first prototype was built for the Dept. of the Army. During World War II the Jeep model was copied by several companies around the world. In the U.S. military the Jeep was eventually edged out by the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle ("Humvee").
